2.0 motor & trans from 1969 911T value?

Hello all,

I'm looking for some advice on value.

I've acquired a ton of parts over the years of building, trading, flipping, wheeling and dealing.

I have a 2.0 motor and trans from a 1969T 911. They were removed from a car I drove 5 years ago. Been sitting in storage since. The motor was strong and ran well. I have no other info than that. I'm trying to clean up the warehouse and down to one P-car and will be for some time.

Time to move some stuff!

The motor is complete but has the fan, shroud and carbs removed (although I do have them).

Any suggestions as to the value?

Should I sell the Zenith carbs and transmission separate? I'm not looking to get top dollar just clean up the shop.

Thanks in advance!

PS. I don't have the engine number handy but will get that in the next few days....Located in Sacramento.

Update after some research. Engine number 6196398 shows it to be a 69 T engine.
Again, thanks all for any opinions as to value.

I was able to track down the engine number from old notes I had. It appears (if my online detective work is accurate) the motor is from a 1969T
Engine number 6196398 shows it to be a 69 T model.

Still looking for advice as to the value.

Thanks again!

IMHO, the least valuable 911 engine.

I think that is a common opinion.

If the motor is complete with carbs it's worth quite a bit more than $2,000 even if it is only a 69T, which yes was the least valuable motor. You're probably looking in the $5,000 range. You might also post the transmission type. That will affect it's value as it could have had any transmission.

But the carbs would likely be IDTs, again the least valuable.

This.

It will likely be a 901/13. Mag case. AFMSZ. Worth about $1000 on its own.

I really hope you guys are right and I am wrong, I have a disassembled 69T motor I would like to sell.
I was thinking the case was worth only $400, and the non-CC Std. Std. crank at $300.
I had the heads a the LA swap meet twice and finial let them go for $200.00 so I did not have to drag them back a third time.
