14" Original FUCHS wheels value
Hey Everyone,
I have a 1977 911 Targa which I bought back in January with 14" Original Fuchs wheels on 195/70/R14 tires. I heard somewhere that 14" Fuchs may be rare and early so I am trying to see how much all four on new tires are worth? 14s are too small for my taste and this car so I would love to put some 16" Fuchs but first need to know value....thanks for the feedback! Some pics of the wheels/car below.... Thanks, Oscar

Hey I did a little research for you and found this thread with some useful information.
Remove one front and one back wheel and get the date code and size off the backs. According to that thread, these were a 'comfort' option as the smaller wheel allows for a bigger tire and thus a softer ride. Someone restoring an early 912 may be interested in them.

Also of interest to 914-6 owners, and now that those cars have passed the $100,000 mark, people will pay for correct date matched 14" FUCHS.

It all depends on the pro-date. 1976 pro date 912e 14s border on worthless unless the market has changed since I owned mine.

No self-respecting 914/6 owner is going to put ring type Fuchs on their $100,000 car. Unfortunately you're not going to find too many buyers for the 14 inch wheels. Like was said earlier, maybe some 912E owners, but they're a cheap bunch. Otherwise they'd own a 911. Lolol

I have a set of five 16/6 Fuchs available that came on my recently acquired 914/6 conversion, they would fit your 77 nicely. Swapped them out for 15/6 flat Fuchs as I prefer that look on the 914/6. Here is a picture of the 914/6 with the 16/6 Fuchs let me know if you are interested and I will provide details. Thanks, Karl PS: I don’t know the current value of your 14’s but last month I paid $1500 for four 15/6 flat Fuchs with usable tires. The 15” wheels were dated 1973, if that helps. ![]()

Just as a data point. I sold a set of 4 14" FUCHS a few months ago for $1000, but they were date matched and early, 70 if I remember correctly.

Data point - I had a pair for sale, required complete restoration but were good candidates for it. I think I got $350 for the pair. Very little interest other than the eventual buyer.
The were 70's date code I think?

See below: Data is measured, collected and reported, and analyzed, whereupon it can be visualized using graphs, images or other analysis tools. Data as a general concept refers to the fact that some existing information or knowledge is represented or coded in some form suitable for better usage or processing. Raw data ("unprocessed data") is a collection of numbers or characters before it has been "cleaned" and corrected by researchers. Raw data needs to be corrected to remove outliers or obvious instrument or data entry errors (e.g., a thermometer reading from an outdoor Arctic location recording a tropical temperature). Data processing commonly occurs by stages, and the "processed data" from one stage may be considered the "raw data" of the next stage. Field data is raw data that is collected in an uncontrolled "in situ" environment. Experimental data is data that is generated within the context of a scientific investigation by observation and recording. Data has been described as the new oil of the digital economy.
