The fuel pump is controlled by the DME relay, IIRC it's the second one from the left on the top row. The relay should say DME right on it. Search DME jumper and you'll find out how to make a test...

Man you would hate working after me, I use silicone on a wide array of things. I find silicone easier to remove and normally places where I use it torque isn't all that critical.
