My motor has a bracket that holds the plugs in place. I removed those screws that release the plugs then you should be able to take the plastic disk off the shaft.

Thanks to everyone for the response. I did find one local at a tranny shop who also carries parts for the tranny. Had the torque converter rebuilt and picked it up yesterday.

It's the bushing that goes on the transmission...

It's the bushing that goes on the transmission shaft and the torque converter shaft slides into it. It is on the shaft behind the torque converter rubber seal.
