I had that code. It ended up being the VVT...

I had that code. It ended up being the VVT solenoid on the back of the cyl head. Replaced it and it cleared up all the valve lift codes and the misfires.

My engine had been replaced already due to an IMS bearing failure, so it has the newest variation so it can't be changed out without taking apart the whole engine.

Is it common to replace the Air Oil separator at clutch time? I looks pretty easy to get to and they also did it on the "Wheeler Dealer" episode when they re did a 996 Cab.
