You can run the varioram intake on a 95 engine, it’s a fairly common and easy upgrade that will give you significantly more torque, for whatever it’s worth.

I didn’t read the comments, but it’s the rear screw that holds the shifter rod beneath the rear cover below the seats. Just dealt with the same issue
