Transmission mount

How much would a decent shop charge to replace the Transmission mount? One shop told me it is shot (I'm assuming it's a big old rubber one), and wants $250 to replace it.

I'm wondering if that's...

I'd buy this website and turn it into a Pamela Anderson XXX site. I'd have a bunch of photos of her wearing nothing but Porsches. Does that count as automotive?

Hey JRKRIDER, that glass top can fetch you $1000 or more at a good swap meet, but make sure you have something to put in it's place.

The problem with the 944 was not that it had/has 5 speeds instead of 6. The problem is that it has 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th gear. They should have stretched the first 4 out a little, and...

By 1990 or 1991, I believe the S2 was $50,000. That's what killed the 944 in my opinion.

$3500 is way too much for 212,000 miles and crappy interior. You won't even enjoy the car if the interior is sh_T, and it's not worth fixing the interior if the car is mechanically iffy. Get...

A/C for 1988 n/a

How can I tell if my car was converted to R134. I bought it 3 1/2 years ago w/ 86K on it and I didn't ask previous owner.

If guys can ask about putting a Chevy V8 in a 944 I guess I can ask this.

Can a flat 6 from a 911 fit into a 944 (and yes I mean the front of the car)?

I'm going to cover my ears now since I'm...

Didn't all the '89 have the 2.7? Anyway the 2.7liter are 162 HP stock, only 4 HP more than a 1988. So why do you want an 89 so badly? Inquiring minds want to know.

Forget MTV, I want my A/C

Have 1988 944 N/A. 91K miles.

95 degrees today.

Tried AC. Works less than marginally.

Is is still possible to recharge effectively, or am I looking at a new A/C system for $1100?
