I wonder if anyone has actually replaced the charcoal. The whoe setup seems like a waste of hose/space.

I agree w/the school of thought that states these cars are not emission friendly by todays...

Fresh Air Hose - runs along the driver side long...

Are those hoses even needed? Seems like they just get in the way in the engine compartment.

Sorry to hear about this. My apt got robbed a couple weeks ago - laptops, ipods, etc - and I'm on a 5th floor walkup! I have insurance so it's not a terrible loss.

To check for leaks, try spraying propane around all the hoses & connections. If the engine stumbles you have a leak. You may even need to check the plenum as sometimes the welds crack and air leaks...
