Your advice was right on. manifold gasket and injector seals cleared it right up. Relatively painless although it was hard to find the process in my Bentley... Took about 4 hours...

I look after my friends 88 325ic and seems to be idling quite rough. Plugs wires and dist seem good. Still has most of its power under throttle. Code scanner says OA. Emissions Lambda....

Yes what he said. And... A friend of mine cleaned his out really well then proceeded to use this apoxy paint inside. Sloshed it around so it covered everything. When it curred it was all good. Me......

I got all excited again... Took the blower motor...

I got all excited again... Took the blower motor out. Removed the brushes. Sprayed some silicon in there and it freed up the fans. All seems good now. I'm just surprised at how the fuse melted!...

I know of 2 e30s that do the same thing. Don't think its the slave master or the linkage. Although this are inexpensive and should be replaced if they are bad. Could be your clutch or something else...

Update. After several tests I found the problem... Crank sensor wire had a run in with the radiator fan. Was slowly shaving the wire away. Replaced the sensor and all good.
