OK so here is the deal... Lights flashing after alarm set is fine. Horn beep indicates something is not closed. In my situation it was the center console.

Steve... I would wait till you change the clutch. I just turned 50k on my Boxster S and have them check oil and filter every change which I do at 2000 mile intervals.

They should be able to fix that. I had 2 dents in my Porsche on the door and fender and can't even tell. They should be able to get to that from the inside.

Cam cover bolts...oil weep

All,

I have a bit of oil seeping from the lower 2 cam cover bolts. Nothing is dripping just a weep. I want to remove the bolts and put some Loctite blue then re-tighten to proper torq. Any issue...

Oil leak would depend on where it is originating....

Oil leak would depend on where it is originating. Worst case "RMS" Rear Main Seal. Not so bad "Spark Plug Tubes"

My 2002 S is the same way with 2nd gear when car is cold. I find that I shift from 1st to 2nd gear at low RPM's (1000-2000) on that 1st shift it is fine after.
