need advice ASAP new injector seals leaking!!!
I installed the cam tower and I resealed the injectors using the pelican parts kit. I used new O-rings on both ends but used the same washer. When I try the spacer that came with the kit it doesn't look right. The hat doesn't sit all the way down on the injector. It seems like the injector O-ring isn't going all the way into the intake manifold hole even though I push like a motha.
Advice please. I need this assembled before dark. Thanks, Speedy

Did you lube up the O-rings?
New ones are a tight fit, but they will go in with some effort. Silicone lube, ATF, or vaseline work well. The new spacer will be a little "crooked" that is normal. Everything lines up when you press it all in. AFJ

So I should use the thicker spacer even though the hat doesn't go down all the way when compared to the old ones?

Be careful Speedy. The last time I did this I ended up selling a car to you...
![]() Oh, and make sure none of the lines to the fuel rail cracked when you moved it out of the way.

The hats should push on all the way until the pin is pretty much flush with the face of the injector cap. Otherwise it will affect the spray pattern.
