ok, so my driver side window doesn't work. seems like a common problem with a solution that i have not yet found. the passenger side works great. i've switched the bottons and they both work great on the passenger side so i know they work. i took the door panel off the driver side and tested for power and nothing. then i hooked up the battery and the motor worked fine. so then i thought it must be something between the switch and the motor. i followed the wires from the switches to a box behind the glove box, (this box clicks when i hit the switch) Is this box the problem? any suggesting or help at all would be great!

Sounds like the switch is bad. Did you try using the passenger side switch for the driver's side window? If it works when you do that, chances are your driver's side switch is bad, or needs cleaning.

Ok, that confirms that the switches are ok, Do you have a window lockout switch on the console?
