Fuse 23 short problem
Hi all,
I'm a very newbe to the BMW e30, so please excuse me for less intelligent questions... ;-) I have the problem that my fuse 23 blows every time I turn on the light switch. I tried disconnecting all lights from this fuse except for the instrument panel lighting. When measuring the wires I still measure a resistance of about 10 Ohms for almost every wire. I expect this to be caused by the active check control. Can anybody point me out where to look for the active check in the electronics so I can bypass/disconnect it? Or is this something like a common problem and anybody might know the cause? I checked most of the wiring going to the trunk, but they seem in good shape... By the way, the car is an european 1988 e30 325i convertable. Thanks in advance! Rick |
