E36 Bent Stabilizer Bar (Need Help)
I have a 1997 328I with a lowered suspension. I hit something and bent the heck out of my stabilizer bar on the front suspension. My bentley manual calls it a stabilizer bar but I have tried to find a new one everywhere on the internet with no luck. I haven't called anyone about it yet. Anybody know if this bar is called something else? Is it part of a suspension package? Do I need it on the car?
Any help would be appreciated! Last edited by ecir; 11-17-2005 at 07:53 AM.. |

The stabilizer bar is the anti-sway bar.
Is this it? http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.do?model=CD93&mospid=47504&hg=31&fg=10 If you bent this then you probably hit your power steering rack too. Or you could be refering to the bar that most people replace with and X-brace. Look up BMW X-brace on hte web and see if the non-X portion of the X-brace is what you need.
