reverse light switch location?
Hey all, noticed today that the reverse lights aren't working on my '90 325i. Have checked the fuse, bulbs, all are ok.
Now the question is, where do I find the reverse switch? Thanks, Nick

Most likely it is on the tranny.

Thanks for the info.
Thats what I had thought, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't in the shift area. The bimmer is on the driveway, as the garage is full to the gills right now. Just wanted to make sure I was looking in the right area as I'll be freezing my a$$ of while working on it! I'll let y'all know what I find! -Nick

I had the same problem and isolated it to a broken wire that runs from the tranny switch up through the shifter hole under the shifter console. I think that is a more likely failure than the switch. Pretty sure it's a common thing with older E30's.
