Odometer stopped working
I have a 1987 325ES with 250,000 miles on it, my odometer stopped working recently. I cannot find any information on what could be wrong, any ideas on where to start looking for the problem.

Is it just the odo or the speedo too?
If both, check the sensor and wiring. If odo only, I think there is a gear that goes out. Try odo-gears.com or something like that. Let me know...

Hey I have a 88 325 and that was happening to me, I found that there was a short in the reverse light switch that was blowing the fuse. I unplugged the switch and its never happened again

Also thank you for the tip about the back up lights and speedo. I have had problems with my speedo and now my back up lights quit as well and I never thought about them sharing a fuse... Thanks Jami
