While replacing microfilter 97 328i
I replaced the microfilter in my 1997 328i by removing the kick panel below the glove compartment.
After replacing the filter I noticed that there was a wire with a barrel type connector (in the bundle of wires that make replacing the filter a pain in the neck) that was not connected, the connecter was not snapped together. Should this wire be connected or is it used for some other purpose? I wish I could be more specific, but I don't have a wiring diagram. However is is the only wire in that location ( the middle of the kick panel ) that has any inline connector. |

I doubt you accidentally disconnected any wires. It is probably a connector for a feature you do not have, such as alarm etc...
