Rattle comming from rear end
Hi all,
I'm hoping that someone will be able to give me a couple of pointers to the source of a rattle i have coming from the rear left of my 323 saloon. i have replaced the rear sway bar links and checked the rear top mounts but the rattle still exists. it is definitely suspension related. any ideas?????? 1997 323 i SE Saloon - UK Spec Last edited by slimeysi; 12-09-2007 at 07:03 AM.. |

Could be your rear trailing arm bushing or subframe bushing.

Rear shock mounts are the most common. Re-double check them and Yuricks comment.
Eliminate the brake pads as a source by testing the rattle while braking. Check the exhaust hangers.
