Newbie, sorta...

Just thought I'd say hi, and introduce myself. I have had an older 911 for about 15 years, but I just dove into the BMW pool.... just bought a 2003 M3 cab, carbon black, cinn interior, 26K miles, all options except parktronic.

Actually, I traveled from CT to Boston for it a couple weeks ago, and as luck would have it it began to sleet as negotiations got heated. I had hoped it would, and the negotiations wound up at what i considered a fair price....well, well under trade.

We loaded it up on a trailer, and it's now in storage until spring.

I must say, it's a sweet car, and I'm rather thrilled!

Of course, with sleet and rain and darkness, pictures weren't taken. Here's a "stock" shot.

Also, I'd like to bring your attention to a community issue. If you aren't already aware of it, one of the 911 technical boards oldest and most respected posters, Warren, "Early 911S Man", has been taken ill. He's perhaps the single most informed person in the country regarding Bosch ignition systems, and is considered the single most "blue chip" poster on the board, with nearly 10,00 posts...all right, and all helpful!

Long story short, he has been having health care issues for years, and has found himself out of the health care system. He is in need of a lung transplant, and time and money are in short supply.

This is a rare chance to help one of our own...please look and follow the link in my signature. Any consideration will be most welcome.

Thanks!
