Help !! I have a 93 318is that give scan code code 37 - ECU power supply low. How do I fix as I believe it is effecting my transmission performance because my torque converter is not functioning and my dash lights up like a Christmas tree on occasion then loses all power

Sounds like it's a voltage bus problem, not necessarily an ECU problem. I would take a look at your battery, and probably have it tested or replace it. Then I would take a look at your alternator to make sure it's charging the system properly (that is, if a new battery doesn't fix the problem). Also, make sure that your ground straps are all properly fastened (you can check the resistance from the gauges to the negative terminal of the battery - should be close to zero). If the car has some poor grounds, it will also potentially give the low voltage messages you are seeing.
