scan code code 37 - ECU power supply low

Help !! I have a 93 318is that give scan code code 37 - ECU power supply low. How do I fix as I believe it is effecting my transmission performance because my torque converter is not functioning and my dash lights up like a Christmas tree on occasion then loses all power

Then I would take a look at your alternator to make sure it's charging the system properly (that is, if a new battery doesn't fix the problem). If the car has some poor grounds, it will also potentially give the low voltage messages you are seeing.
