I have a 1995 M3 and have a problem when I am accelerating hard in 1st and 2nd gear. We have found that when the rpms come up fast the motor does not run on #1 or #3 cyl. Have replaced all sensors except crank and cam sensors also all coils and #1 and #3 injectors and also fuel pump and mas air flow. Removed the DME and checked for cracked soder found nothing wrong. Checked fire on coils all good used a noid light to ck injectors firing. I put the stock chip back in the ecu same problem has new plugs. When acc. hard in 3rd and 4th gear to 7000 rpms car runs strong no problem with dropping cyls. When the cyl drop if I drive it normal motor starts running on all cyls. If I turn the motor off while its missing when I restart the miss is gone. Daily driver no problems if I drive normal. I do get all kinds of read outs in the car low water head lihgt brake system all system thow are fine. Parts I replaced came from Pelican so i know there good. Help.

You likely have an engine misfire that the DME is killing injectors because of. It will do this to prevent excess fuel from entering the cylinder in the event of the misfire. Locate the misfire and you will be able to repair the problem.
