The problem that BMW made on it's E36 Models, being 318i's mine being a 1993 with no power to the fuel pump, and no spark to the spark plugs, Is that they placed the DME/ECU under the windshield cowling so when leaves fall from the trees and seeds, they clog that area up and then it rains, and it overflows guess where ? Onto the DME/ECU causing it to eventually short out or give false readings, making your car not start. Trying to find a used one is becoming more tuff and you shouldn't have to pay more then 150.00 dollars for one. I thought this should be known being it costed me almost $1.500.00 dollars to figure this out. The DME/ECU is located on the passenger side firewall. Your welcome and you owe me . . . . . . . . dimpala1964@gmail.com
