Comments: I have a 1991 bmw 318is that runs really well but when the car is warmed up and i stop and turn it off....It struggles to catch its idle but as soon as it does its fine. It does this every time i stop.It runs fine other than that

Followup from the Pelican Staff: Will the engine run smooth if you increase the throttle? Also, have you checked fuel pressure and volume when the problem is present? This could be something as simple as a torn intake boot or an air leak or a fuel delivery issue. - Nick at Pelican Parts

The car run fine...No throttle pick up problems...Just acts like its flooding out on restarts, but as soon as it catches its idle its fine...Do you think maybe injectors are leaking through.

You misunderstood my question, does the engine idle if you increase the throttle a small amount?

On restarts after the car has warmed up and i turn it off an it sits for a few minutes, when i start it back it idles like its flooded. If i give it gas the idle increases but if i start the car and let it just idle on its own for 15 to 20 seconds it will go right on. If i just take off the car misses until it catches it idle.....
