Unhappy Turn Signal Issue

Hello all. I have an 87' 325 (base model) that indicates that I have a bad connection. My left turn signal works great, but when I turn on the right turn signal, the inside indicator blinks really fast. I visually inspected the rear blinker and it works great. The problem is with the front right blinker indicator.

I have replaced the front bulb and even switched it with the left front to make sure that it was not a bad bulb that I replaced. I did this with the fuses also and nothing worked. I know that the fuses and the bulbs are good.

I'm thinking that I may need a new front light assembly. Any suggestions before I spend my cash?
