Question on BMW 3-Series E36 O2_Sensor

Went to workshop and did the diagnose and it appears O2 SENSOR FAULT CURRENTLY PRESENT.

I bought the BOSCH 4 wire o2 sensor and now the foreman said the wire length is different with the currently plugged on my car. Will the wire length be a problem here?

Car is 94 325 model and only has 1 o2 sensor. Is this correct?
On the wire's length, can I just plug it in without doing any alteration on the length?
