So I've recently cut my exhaust young kid doing stupid things on my 96 328i and now I'm experiencing my RMPs dropping low and then shooting back up to the spot it was at while driving at a constant pace and then trys to stall. I believe its my o2 sensor which could be causing the problem? idk

Could be a vacuum leak. I would start by checking the DME for fault codes. If the system is not working properly, a fault code will be set. This will be your best bet when diagnosing.
