You can do it on the car if you are a bit lucky....

The rotor is bolted on the hub - IF you can undo the bolts with the hub on the car - go for it.

Otherwise, you will have to remove the grease cap, loosen and remove the hub nut and remove the hub\rotor and then remove the rotor from the hub.

If you remove the hub, IMO you should at least replace the seal and repack the bearings with fresh grease.

When replacing the hub nut - it is tight enough when you can just move the washer behind it. Tighten the allen bolt to 11ftlbs.
