Wow, what are the chances? My youngest son has a '68 912. We spent his senior year in high school converting it to a 911, using the MFI inducted 2.4 out of my '72. And talk about a "mix and match of parts" - on top of that, it has the Bilstein struts and shocks, along with the stock torsion bars that we removed from his big brother's '79 SC when we upgraded the suspension on that. Lots of other parts came off of both my '72 and his brother's '79 along the way to get it finished. Total "little brother" car, with "hand me down" parts all over it. That was over 15 years ago, and he still drives it today.
