Pull up the carpet over the center tunnel. Pull out the floorboard. You'll find the clutch cable (and throttle cable) over at the right side of the pedal cluster.
Look in Haynes, it has pretty decent instructions.
I was able to pull the old cable out and push the new one in from the engine bay side, without taping the new and old ones together. Your mileage may vary.
Triple-check to make sure you don't get the throttle and clutch cables wound around each other.
Sometimes there is a clearance problem threading the metal end of the cable through the tunnel. If so, you can lightly grind the corners of the end (right by where the cable goes, so be careful!) to provide the clearance. It is usually not necessary to actually shorten that metal end, unless someone has done a real hack-job on the clutch tube.
