Just installed one like it on a 3.6 G50 conversion that was previously on pbs911's 78 Targa 3.6 conversion.

Ours had a name brand on it but can't remember it. Paul probably got it from Pelican?

Definitely sounds different. Sounds more "high-tech" than the well known Porsche sound. Works great as far as I can see.

Wouldn't mind having one on my own car. Seems of sturdier construction than the original unit.
