Now come on T- Master.........I am in no way suggesting anything about YOU. I ask only.....have you run a R12S for at least several thousand miles in the Alpe'es............or not.
I assume you are a wonderful rider and have vast experience............just not as much as I. None the less........your opinions are welcome as always.
When you state however:
"I happen to do 90% of my miles in the Alps and surrounding areas. Maybe you've heard of em. It's that place that has more tight curves concentrated in a relatively small area than there are in the entire US of A." YOU are so naive and out of contact. We have plenty of areas that are tighter, harder, and faster.............and not only that........we get to use them. Like CK says......we run them up..........
I would love to chase you thru the well worn sections of the alps that you know and which thousands of bikers ride every day..............then you come chase me thru the sections of north california, north georgia, western N.C., southern missouri, texas hill country, eastern W. Virginia, S. C. Montana (Bear Tooth, Saw Tooth), C. Idaho (all of the salmon River run, N. new mexico, and N. E. Utah...............and see how long it takes to catch me.......on such easy roads, as compared to the ALPs of course. We have the roads.......and more importantly we get to use them. Lets all be friends here.........as we all may meet in a common bikers heaven some day.
To each his own.
