EXACTLY what are you trying to do?

All 901/911/914-6 engine transmission combinations from prototype through ‘71 have the same dimension there. I can measure it tomorrow.

That said, starting in ’72, the 915 moved the axle centerline toward the engine by 10 mm. This was in the transmission only, the engine dimensions remained the same.

Concurrent with the 915 change are several subtle but important other changes. The ‘thinner-but-lighter’ 108 mm CV joints allow less angularity than the ’69-’71 ‘thick’ version.

Depending on the conversion, there is a change in the 911 chassis for rear shock clearance between ’71 and ’72 that may need to be addressed.

Of course there are all the other ‘obvious’ differences.

Needless to say, this is all LWB subtleties. SWB is a whole another world. 914 is easy because of the very long axles. The 930 Turbo is the other extreme because of the very short axles.
