930 header opins needed.
My China headers are cracking. I have a support for the waste gate pipe broken at the #1 header pipe. (Actually I welded it last night) Also have had boost creep because of the bad design for the wastegate pipe. Had considered going back to the euro Porsche exhaust heat exchangers. I have all the parts still but thought I should ask others their opinions.
The boost creep is because of a gt35r that boosts quite well. Also I have efi and stuff if that helps. Seeing 1.4 bar with a 1 bar spring. Should I work on the wastegate circuit or change over to the euro headers? Thoughts please thanks.

Don’t know about the Euro stuff, but heating the welds after repair to relieve stresses may prevent future cracking, or at least prolong life

This is what you need to do to cure the cracking. It puts the stress from the WG into the flange instead of the primary wall. The boost creep can be fixed by running an add'l tube from each secondary at the elbow where it turns up into the turbo into the elephant trunk.

Unfortunately you are correct, nomatter what you do those headers are going to crack again. The cheap alloy used will simply fall apart with heat cycles. I've seen them come off in pieces after one track event. We have turbo systems that have been on the track for 10 years with no cracking, way past typical header life span for that environment. Ours were designed to address all the issues I had with typical short tube 304 stainless headers when I built the Red Rocket. Material we use is 321 stainless. The primaries and secondaries are equal length, F1 collectors are internally polished, waste gate circuit comes off both banks at a better angle to avoid boost creep. The latest version has welded collectors, v-bands for easier installation and optional welded heat exchangers. We had to re-fixture to do these things but the results were worth it. The sound this tuned system makes is like no other.

Hard to beat B&B for design and efficiency. Chris at Turbocraft has done quite a bit of testing and the dyno results speak. I have two sets both of which were bought used for around $600. One with heat one w/o. Ive also had a set of Brian’s headers and not only do they sound amazing but they’re automotive artwork. Good luck with whatever path you choose.

GT35R twin scroll set up with Brian’s headers. I get compliments every time I drive it on how amazing it sounds.

Thank You. I like the black ceramic coating.
The exhaust pipe below the rocker is camouflaged better. I like to hide things that don’t complement the body lines. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My system from Brian has been solid from day one. Put it on a fresh engine, that went 5 track seasons before a refresh and is now ending the second season on that refreshed engine and still strong with no issues.

I've had these in use since 2012 and haven't had issue till now.....
The past couple weeks I've had an overboost condition that has put extra strain on them but overall they've been better than expected. What I'd like to know right now is weather the euro heat exchangers might serve me nearly as well (power delivery)as these if I fix these.

The Euro exchangers and J-pipe are better than the USA system but still underperform when compared to any sort of header. Yes fixing what you have will buy you some time and definitely out perform the J-pipe setup. Be sure to check the new welds on the inside for slag and grind it off if you find any.

Do you have heater boxes? The bare ones like mine are much less trouble than the boxed ones because there are a lot fewer welds to crack. If I want to take my car for a ride in cold weather here I put a coat on.

I'd call/talk to Chris at TurboKraft as well, you want as much practical knowledge as possible...at least I would.

Did you open up/remove material where the waste gate tube meets the manifold?
