Would prefer not buy one to keep without a limited slip, whether it came from new or later. Still have a spare one just in case a special 930 comes my way without one. I will make it not original anymore if thinking of another keeper.

Wanna see how this kind of screwing around can end up?
As a background...My sticky wide rear wheels that I have gotten used to were being resealed I was using some old crappy 15x9.5" 225 section tires. The car was crazy funny with them on. Tires weren't bald but old and 225 section so way narrower than my sticky 315's so it was "loose". I got curious about drifting in second gear at 50-55mph..... Sorry they're sideways...the computer didn't have a problem only this site it seems.

That is so painful to look at. Assume you're OK. How goes the vehicular rehab?

Doing well. Doggie is fine. Drifting with a dog on the lap is also stupid. Cars going backdate. Looking good. Should be done by late spring.

Ugh Brando - that def suuuuuuuuuuuuuuux to see / hear my friend. Major bummer, but least doesn't look as bad as it could be... lame, but could def have been muuuuch worse.

Shame, as was really lookin good! LOVE the color / side decal combo.

Good luck w/ the backdate. And stop hooning on 225's! Yikes.

Wow! Brandon, glad to hear you and your co-pilot were not hurt. I hope the backdate goes smoothly..."no bumps in the road".

It sucks but not that bad. It certainly could have been worse. I’ve driven these 911’s for many years and haven’t been but by the black widow till now. Hope this can help others to be more mindful.
I’m also doing some suspension upgrades at the same time. Going 32mm in back and adjustable spring plates. I had a complete 934 coil over suspension kit but decided my car is old and would never have the performance of a new car. So I sold that and am backdating in order to tame the look and put the car more where it should be. A looker with power but not quite a race car. No turbo tail but a duck with peekaboo intercooler treatment. Just a cool car.
I’ll let you guys know more in the spring.
