Presentation and some question about Seedometer from US

Hi all,. I'm from south of France, I've since 2005 a convertible 911 3.2 borned in 1986 from US.. It's a fantastic car wihout any problem, I do its maintenance and mechanics with great pleasure.
I would like identify if my speedometre from my 911 is the originalone.
Somebody can help me?

Welcome to the Pelican forum. I'm sure you will enjoy it!

I am not a speedometer expert but the manufacture date looks to be correct. 10 85, so October 1985 would be correct forthe 1986 model year. Hopefully others will chime in.

On mine, It's noticed: 911 641 517/00
I supose that my speedometer's cover isn't in accordance with speedometer itself.

Welcome to the forum. I also do my car’s maintenance and mechanics, but it’s not always with great pleasure.

This sub forum is turbo- specific and thus gets less traffic. You might get more responses to your question if you post it on the 911 Technical sub forum.
