This is IMHO THE badest mean ass 911 Porsche ever made!

This is the car that was plastered all over my rooms walls as a 6 year old. I NOW have one to cherish and play with. I feel just like I did looking at them and playing with my Porsche 911 toys as I do now at the age of 35. This car has made me feel like a little kid all over again.. The other night I just sat in it for what seemed like 10 minutes but my wife came out and said.. "What are you doing? you have been out here for over an hour now" hahah! I had no idea.. I never get tired of looking at it or driving it.
I DO want to say thanks to my father in law for the deal of a LIFE TIME on this car. without him I would NOT have a 930. Thanks John!!!!! I can never repay you for the killer deal! ( I'll buy you an $8.00 beer at the next football game we go to. ahaha! ) This car is dressed up in the car show colors at this time... it will go back to it's Grand Prix white after the event. The machine only has 15K on it. I plan to keep it as nice as it is now!!!! and pass it on to my daughter Rory as I am SURE to have her in love with 930's as I was at 6 when she reaches that age. Well enough of the talking crap!! her she is.. AGAIN! the decals and all will be removed after the Taj Kruzers event. It's the best feeling to finally own and be in the 930 owners club!! what a car!!!!
NOTE! the plate cover! I Wish I really did own that deralership! ahaha!

I know exactly how you feel. 1976 was a landmark year for me, the first 911 turbo. Been dreaming ever since. I actually hug my car. My wife asks me if I kissed it good night before I go to bed.

I know the feeling; these cars are special.

1976 I was 10 and I told my younger brother that I would buy a 930...true to my word... 30 years later I did!

In all those years I never wanted any other car. I could win the lottery tomorrow and nothing would change, I would drive a 930. My car migh turn into a faster, cleaner 930, but it would still be the 930.

Very nice. '79 930 turbos performance and characteristics still hold up yoday. I have two of them. I bought my '79 with original 4000 miles. I left it stock with the exception of getting rid of thermal reactor exhaust system. Does yours still have the reactors on it?

The cars is a dream.... Reading your post reminds me of my teen years...I remember in high school 1978 my buddy pointed out a 930 on the 10 frwy in SoCal and I instantly fell in love. Had never seen or heard of one before and I said someday I will buy one of those bad ass machines..It was truly revolutionary for its day and still is..I bought my first turbo last year and my wife know its the other girl.. My wife likes to drive it too. I think she is alittle afraid of dinging it or something because she knows I would have a fit...Kinda scary for her.. But have fun...Are you going to drive it or limit your mileage? It has so few miles it might not be good to pile them on....I dunno....just have fun..Post some more pictures when you get her "the way you like her"

Yes, This is an untouched 79.... I am the one that put the euro tail lights onit. everything is as it can into the states with.

Yes, that is a REAL deal 959 it's my father inlaws ride.. it's a nice graphite gray with triple gray interior.
