The WUR has fuel connected to it. I think you mean the electric idle valve that lets extra air into the manifold when the engine is cold.

If you mean the idle valve and connect up this valve before the IC, then hot (non cooled) air will enter the engine. This seems bad.
The inlet charge will be hotter so you wil get a power reduction & increase the likelihood (chance/probability) of detonation.

The stock IC has a connection for the electric idle valve (on the cool side of the IC) after the charge has been cooled.

Exclamation Itercooled Duck

Hello

I noticed you are wondering about the conversion on the picture attached to my post...

I happen to fall on ownership of the car on the picture...

The mod was done to fit the intercooler under a Ducktail..

Former owner is Cowtown....do not know why he is not answering any pmīs and sold the car suddenly...

I bouthg it with a dealer in Oceanside, CA..

If I can be of any assistance, let me know

well i did get it right i changed the distributor and the rotor, additionally i did remove the airfiler and made a by pass from the intercooler to the warm up regulator. so engine runs quit well, but now i want to go for engine upgrade you can see the link below.
