Turbo tail and engine lid & a/c mods on Carrera

Hey guys,

The friend who I'm work with to turbo my Carrera informed me last night that it will probably be another 2 months before we get her back on the road due to his limited availability over the coming weeks. In light of this, I'm just going to bite the monetary bullet and put on an intercooler. I've already picked up the turbo tail, but I'll need a compatible engine lid and whatever parts required to maintain the air conditioning.

Aside from a stock 930 intercooler, what would give me the best bang for my buck and allow me to maintain a/c? I was aiming to run .7 bar w/o an intercooler. How much higher could I go if everything else stays the same? Keep in mind that it will be twin plugged. Todd from Protomotive informed me that after .8 bar the Carrera injectors clamp closed and that 944 turbo injectors would be a decent replacement.

What a/c parts would I need to change? Just the condenser? Any plumbing?

As usual, thanks for your help guys!
Andy - 1987 911 Carrera Coupe
