Hi again all,
Bad news......I just got a 930 and had a vibration that the previous owner said was prob. flat spots from storage.......... 3 atta 4 rims have a bend on the inside, Vibration hits at 90, 122, 136, 160+.. Balancing does nothing. Sort of surprised because they are not bent much? Cant enjoy it until its right. So, Im looking for new rims/wheels ( if i have to)! Black wheels(centre) with a chrome ring. Centre more in the middle of the rim not on the outside like i got now. Ive got 215 F, 255 R (look small). What is the Max size i can fit (please be realistic). If you have nice wheels id love to see them ....Please state size, Brand and cost, along with the pic. And any spacers i would need. ![]() Last edited by Benny771; 07-23-2008 at 06:47 PM.. |

![]() ![]() These are Kenesis K58s in 17x8 and 17x10. Very conservatively sized. My car is actually torn apart for awhile and I'd consider selling if you like these. Otherwise you have an idea how black centers look. Cheers!

FRH/Hartmann 3 pc wheels. 17x7.5, 17x9 with 235/45 and 275/40. $1100 shipped from a Pelican in Canada. I also have Kinesis Supercups in the same size.

Jack Olsen's Black Beauty II. I think some Fuchs with an all black center would look smashing. 17 x 11 rears and 17 x 9 fronts are doable within the confines of the turbo body.

Do a search on the "show us your wheels" thread. Hundreds of pictures.
New prices on 9&11x17 aftermarket wheels typically start at ~$2000/set dependant upon design. That size is very popular with 255/315 mm wide tires.

I think you'd like Lindsey's if you're into the stock look. Here's a shot of mine w/black centers/polished outers and 255/315 tires. Mike moved the rear centers in 18mm for a deeper dish, so I'm using a 10mm spacer in the rear- instead of the stock 28mm. Mine aren't for sale- but if you were to get a set from Mike Lindsey it would probably cost you about $3600 depending on finish. Like Brian said, check out the "show us your wheels" thread for a good sampling. I have to lower my car a little more- these wheels tuck in quite nicely. I have a set of 8/9" original fuchs, polished with matching embossed center caps and newer Proxis tires that I've been thinking of selling..but it sounds like you're looking for something taller/wider.

Can't provide you exactly with the type of wheel color combo you asked for, but the Fikse FM-5's with a black or titanium color center spoke might be what you are looking for. I noticed that you have the rear brake vents on your car, so your rim widths might be a little limited. The duct that attaches off the vent is of sufficient width that it will interfere with the tire if the rim goes too wide. Even then, there may be some grinding involved to get the clearance you need. The rim combo set will cost around $2800-$3000. I'm running Fikse FM-5's 17's x 10 in the rear and 17 x 8 in the front. The rear tire is a 275, though you may go up to 285 depending upon the manufacturer. I use the factory wheel spacers that came from Porsche. ![]()
