Pretty simple really. Do a Google search or go this web site.
Certificate of Authenticity

This will work on the '87-'89 M505/M506 optioned cars, but there's a 99.999% certainty it won't work with the earlier factory slants. Read the entire thread and find out why.

Hey just in case anyone is interested I know of a guy in an adjacent PCA region to mine who has a low mileage, concours condition, factory original car for sale. No affiliation but I would sure like to see these cars go to people who appreciate them.

Slantnose

Hi Onboost
I like the quality photos of your slant nose. and the car is super!
Now its my turn to post a photo of My slant nose. even if this is not a steel car
I think composite is lighter? This is a Gr 5 car that I use for Historic racing.

Slantnose

Hi Gentlemen.
Even we in the Nordic countries like "Slantnose Porsches" Even if we and I have destroyed many Porsches with High performance engines, during the happy seventies and eighties we compited in a series called Rallycross. In Sweden the Porsches was banned by the federation and the cars had no value, some intelligent people save the VIN numbers, (I did not) and today, there is so many fake cars around.
This fantastic French movie is displaying what a slantnose can do as a Rallycross car.
This is a car from Finland and the driver is Matti Alamäki. We called the French people for "Frogs"

That is a wild video. Dual boost knobs and all. I guess one is for boost and one is for brake bias?

Hi Steve,

Well the Shuttle just landed this past hour so My big work responsibilities are winding down for the year. I have a webpage plan laid out and need to get with some folks over the next few weeks to get it in work. Getting closer....

Should we start planning for the Porsche Parade in Chicago next year? Is the PCA still leaning that direction to get the registry formed based on the slantnose ownership involvement for that event?

That race was like a figure 8 demo race with Audi's and the Porsche. No wonder they have no value...

I don't know if any of the regulars to this thread have seen the discussion I have been having with zcoker on another thread but it has to do with our boxed rockers and the end caps they have.

zcoker has an interesting picture of an end cap which looks different from any I have seen on an M505 car.

For reference here is what I'm comparing it to:

All the photos I have as well as what's on my car and the PET imply that the end caps are the same for all cars (same PN in the PET) regardless of the type of rocker. I'm wondering if zcoker's rocker could be from an earlier specialwishes car. Any of you guys have or seen end caps like zcoker's before?

Nope, haven't seen it. Maybe a fabricator's piece....a one-off?
My '85 factory slant has the standard 930 end caps you noticed on the later vintage of M505's.
