It may not be the cause, but it can happen. BTDT. Also, on the track, the exhaust/turbo can get hot enough to glow. My buddy has mentioned it to me several times after following me.

Let us know what Kevin says.

Kevin @ Ultimate feels its most likely due to something in the oil. I cant wait until he inspects it and comes to a conclusion.

Looks like I wont know anything for a little while. According to Kevin at Ultimate the turbo was damaged during shipment. It all sounds a bit strange given the circumstances that surround the situation, but hopefully it will all turn out ok. Luckily for me, the package was insured for the full value of the turbo.

I got quite the runaround from the staff at Imagine Auto (Stephen) on my set up 2 years ago. I am not afraid to say it on the forum here.....it seems like everyone considers him a god or something I am not impressed.

There is a bit more freedom of speach over here vs Rennlist, where sponsors rule.
FWIIW, iA has apparently gone out of business.

Another question is why Stephen is the PCA technical expert for the 930 forum? I never see any useful information coming out of that forum and have never had my questions answered there.
Politics I guess? I shoulod probably be afraid he will kick my a$$ becuase he is a blackbelt or something LOL.
I get much more info from you guys on Pelican than thru the acknowledged experts.
Ultimate motorworks was very difficult for me to even find a phone number or contact info to call them. Nothing negative or positive I can say about them.

Yep, Imagine is out of business. When I dealt with Stephen, he was quick and curteous in our few short conversations. I have no other experience with him.

As for Ultimate, Kevin had to email me his address and Brian pm'd me his number. I dont believe his website has neither of that info. After this experience with him is through, I will surely have an opinion formed about him and his shop. I will keep you all informed.
