Interesting & Nicely Done Twin Turbo 965 on eBay - Pics
Came across this really sweet car. 3.8L Twin Turbo no less. Offered for sale by TurboKraft, not sure if it is customer's car or one of their's. Beautiful and I really really like it. What do you guys think? If I had to build one with an open check book it would mirror this build.

Drivetrain looks impressive, but what's up with the low-rider look?

Very nicely done. Incredible build sheet 650HP and 500 miles on complete rebuild. Low Rider look, check out the suspension specs, probably corners like it's on rails. Nice, neat, clean package and if Chris did it, it's right. If it doesn't have enough "Bling" for you, you could always paint it curb yellow.

agreed.... Nice car. Mods are tastefully done. Chris Carroll is one of the guys who I almost went with for my engine package. He is a very nice guy and a straight shooter. There is something about the stance on this car though... something just looks odd. Maybe its just the picture... or my wide screen monitor. I usually am a sucker for a lowered car, but this looks like it may need to be raised an inch or so.... I dont know... But nice car none the less.

I don't much like the wheels or the ride height, very simple fix for an otherwise very impressive piece of kit! Huge power, i wonder how much of that power it hangs onto once under sustained load, hard track work or long high speed runs? Either way 650bhp for short bursts must be a hell of a ride!!

Just can't get that excited over a kit car no matter how much hp. Does look good though and I do like them low!

Ok, I've studied this picture far too much. I've got to get a life!
![]() I think the illusion is from the rear wheel well. The wheel well lip is covering part of the tire sidewall (what there is of it). We're use to seeing the typical 911 negative rake and not the "carrying an extra sack of potatoes" in the rear look. I'm kidding!!!!! full quack, thanks for being such a good sport.

My 964 C4 widebody sits exactly the same. Handles great, but I've thought of lifting the rear for appearance sake. It doesn't have the classic rake of say my 72'. I personally love the rims even without my taste in tails. I could drive it without embarassment.

Hey there Drmatera,
Ride firmness is absolutely not the problem, as a matter of fact it's just the opposite. The car rides way too stiff for the average Joe to tolerate. I'm running 23 & 31 mm t-bars with 22mm sways and HD Sport Bilstiens. If you are a glutten for punishment, able to see each & every road deviation ahead, and don't mind not being able to get into most parking lots or driveways....you too can drive one, as stupid low as mine! I'm actually going to bring it up an inch or so in the next couple of weeks, after 2 years of driving it as it is on a daily basis....I'm done...up it goes a bit. Mark |

Anybody noticed the exhaust? Looks like SSI's to me. Aren't those restrictive with those big HP numbers?

The SSI system is not restrictive. That piece of bad information has been spread by dealers of cheap short tube T304 headers. I took a trip out to CA to meet with John/SSI about this system before developing the Y-assembly with M&K and selling them complete. He had pictures and dyno data of a similar twin turbo setup making 600HP. We went through the physics and how the equal length primaries helped off-boost torque as well as top end flow/HP. I used those same principals and applied them to include the secondaries when designing my own headers.
