OT. Show us your other toys

Done a search and can't find a thread on this, would be interesting to see what other interests you 930 owners have. Pilots show us your aircraft, water junkies show us your boats and jet-ski's, bikers show us your machinery. Or your other cars, go-karts, racers etc etc, will be good to get an idea of what you other nutters are into when your not playing with your pork

I bet that Golf is a lot of fun! Where does the power go to? Front wheels, all four wheels?? Does it spend any time at the track? 1800hp Mustang, perfect for popping down to the shops !! What's your best 1/4 mile time? I've never driven anything with that kind of power! I'd be sweating like a blind lesbian in a fish market behind the wheel of that I have a couple of bikes, CR450F in supermoto spec for the road which is a lot of fun. Also a Buell XB12S with a few mods, loud and obnoxious just the way i like it... I also love the water, i'm a keen diver and love doing deep wrecks and caves. I have a small power boat here on the Thames, great for sunny days with friends and copious amounts of booze, don't think i've ever got off it sober

				 | Is this what you do for a living? If so i'm Seriously jealous!! Not of your fuel bill though, that would cost £825.00 an hour in fuel at UK prices... What do you usually fish for?

Another toy i get to play with is my brothers Integrale, it's a Dealer Collezione edition and is number 97 of 180 made worldwide, from the year they ceased production. It's a lot of fun to drive, he's gone quite mad with the mods as you would expect, everything is top notch. It's got a lovely set of Speedlines on there now but don't have a recent pic

Here's a few pics of the model gliders I build and fly. These are very special gliders built for speed. All composite airframes, loaded full of extra weight, flown in super high winds. We fly giant circles on the backsides of mountains, a new form of soaring discovered where energy is gained, not lost. Planes are locked into 100G circuits. My friends and I hold the world speed record for ALL model aircraft, powered or not. The WR at present is 392mph! These are Sustained speeds, NOT dives. Youtube search for "dynamic Soaring world record" brings up many, many very amazing videos. Check it out! These are UNpowered gliders, powered by the wind, and maintaining the round circuits. | ||

Now that we're approaching 400mph, the G's are nearing 100 constant G's. The planes must withstand MUCH more than that though. The wing in the pic that I'm standing on bends even more in the air! Someone did a calc, and one of our smaller gliders (74" span) at 300mph has something like 40 times the impact force of a 50 cal bullet! You're not even safe hiding behind your car as the plane will go right through the car engine! When they blow up in the air it sounds like a big shotgun blast, followed by lots of carbon confetti. | ||
