Hey Everyone
Just thought I'd introduce myself. I am a newbie when it comes to Porsche tech but I've had love for Porsche since my Uncle showed me his 935 1/18 scale model he had built when I was about 13 years old and now 25 years later I've finally own a Porsche..and a 930 slantnose at that! I've been looming about the forum for the last few weeks and I didn't register until my 930 arrived at my door from Arizona. It is an 1989 930 factory slantnose in black with 74,000miles on the clock. It has a few mods that I am aware of but I'm still looking over the car for more noticable upgrades. I am not a slouch when it comes to cars, being a mechanic for 18 years and a car fanatic, but just like most people, I'm here to learn and possibly help out...and obvisouly make the 930S my ultimate dream car. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
As for mods I do know it has a K27 7200 turbo, kokeln intercooler, B&B S/S headers with heat exchangers and a perma tune ignition module. I'm not sure what else in it but it does move very nice. It made its first trip to work today, about 25 miles and it mostly went great. No snow here in Southern Ontario yet but getting colder by the day. The GLH turbo is my other toy I've been playing with for the last ten years I occasionally drag race it and have done a best of 13.6@107 mph. Not bad for a FWD 1 wheel peeler. That was 2 years ago and now it has a megasquirt standalone management system and a 57 trim t3/t4, which is still in the works...its a fun driver too!! Chris

Is it just me or does it look like it just rolled out of a protective bag from the factory (albeit with upgrades)...just looks so clean and so beautiful. There's just a special something about a slantnose...
