Installing RSA carpet and found this..
Does anyone know where these wires go? They are located under the driver seat.

whatever it is, someone added it and it burned up.
happens all the time.... isn't electrical stuff fun? to help guess, it would be better to back up or go wider so people can see the rest of whatever is under your seat. there's also a piece of wire insulation from somones electrical adventures. |

Here are closer shots of how they were connected. I've added spade terminals to reconnect them until I find out what they go to. Oh, they WILL be insulated before going back.

Modified wiring to rear fuel pump? The pump is in the direction where the wires are headed.

Four different colored wires? Anything electrical/aftermarket you have in the engine compartment? What about a fuel enrichment device in back?
It's certainly been added, as nothing runs through that hole in the stock configuration. In fact there is ssupposed to be a rubber grommet there. |

The only thing was an old alarm system siren and lid switch I think I completely pulled. Hmmm.

Ok, everyone, thanks for the ideas but you can stop now. I assume it was part of the old alarm. The end that went toward the engine was taped off and tied to a bracket near the driver side brakes. The two gray wires went to each rear wheel and was cut off. The other end went to front of the car and was lopped off. I just pulled it all out.
