Clunking noise driving me crazy cant find it

OK i thought it was the front wheel bearing which was loose and the inside one was scored a little bit, but that wasn't it. Then maybe bad CV joint jacked car up one side at a time and rotated and shook the rear wheels nothing, then crawled under( this with it jacked up on a screw jack since i am out of town). They are all very tight. Maybe the trans, was a little low on fluid. Topped it off. I am thinking possibly a rear wheel bearing? It is quiet for about the first couple miles then starts clunking and gets progressively louder. The clunks match wheel speed and are very loud and then occasionally just goes away. there also appears to be wheel vibration from the real associated with the clunking. Sound like a rear wheel bearing?

Those were my symptoms exactly. Loud clunking and mild grinding that would randomly start and follow wheel speed then stop for a few miles only to start again. My rear driver side bearings bit the big one. The cage shredded in one spot and the rollers would work themselves out and start tumbling causing the grinding and clunking then would align themselves and be quiet again.

It got a lot worse on the way from work tonight, Pretty sure it's the bearing. Bumming a ride tomorrow thankfully i only have a couple more days up here. I 'll have to find a trailer to get it back home.

I was out of town when mine went. The cheapest route I found was to rent a U-Haul and trailer because I didn't have a truck and trailer.
