Quick tuning question, does ignition timing affect afr's?
I'm in the process of tuning my engine finally, I'm curious to know if ignition timing and the air fuel ratios are completely independent of each other or if an adjustment in ignition timing will alter the afr's? Initially my afr's are 15.1@ no load cruise and 10.5 11 ish@1bar, 3k through 6k rpm. THanks
Tom

yes. higher timing will result in a leaner mixture and lower timing a fatter mixture

Yep, poor timing = poor combustion = sub-optimal AFR's
