Wevo install-question/help

Gents I am installing the Wevo shifter. My question is: is this spacer a factory item or an add on by the previous owner? It was between the shift tube L-bracket and the the housng. pic added.

Nice. I covet my neighbors shifter.
What seats are you going with?

How hard was the installation? Is there a huge difference with the wevo over stock?

Unfortunately I don't have my seats yet so I don't have any drive time with the wevo but after a search on here and Rennlist..it was all thumbs up..so I took a dive.

Installation of the Wevo was fairly simple. Just take your time....NOW the console..that's a different story..what a pain in the a**. While the switches unplug from the back there is some sort of thermocouple wire that run from one of the switches of the ac climate control. It runs up the dash into the front hood. I was able to remove the console without disturbing the wire. It takes patience and plenty of choice words..

i just completed my wevo install last week. never had to undo wiring as it (console) lifted up and over stock shifter. shifting is MUCH CRISPER and throw greatly reduced. pricey but functional and great eye candy left uncovered

Speed- just ordered the black Wevo too. I love the black look you have with the shifter base too. Is that what is under the boot or did you paint yours? I can't remember from 10 years ago when I put my weltmesiter short shifter in.
