Best 930?

Hello Pelicans!

So whats the best 930 in everyone's opinion? I'm itching to get my hands on one, but would love to know which one is the most revered and why!

Probably an 89 slant, bc of the 5 speed. Number 2 would be a early 77-79.

Yep.
An 89 with a five speed.
Or a 78/79 early 930.
If you can get any year with the factory 5 speed conversion is a good option.

Why did I sell my 89!

the car you can afford in the best condition and the G50/50 helps in the 89 is sweet so sweet that I put one in my 87.

My best

The one you own.
Kidding aside, if you want to collect euro '75 if you want to drive, G50 '89.

If your a real 930 guy you have to love them all. My personal
favorites are the 78 to 85 ROW models.

most sought after would have to be either the 75/77 100% stock, or a slant. In my opinion, they are all incredible, and I could be just as happy with any year....75-89. But when I went shopping, I specifically wanted an 86.

Ditto, but I'll take the early lighter ones, especially if has a RUF 5spd or 89 5 spd trans change, unless it has a super car motor ( 550+hp), then a 4spd is enough.

What's the budget?
Find the cleanest one for your budget.

Ever tried one?
The day I tried one the SC was for sale...

The only thing I'm kinda missing is the NA response and I love the instant throttle of the SC but it was pretty slow.

Boost is addictive. And the looks is wow superb.

Any year RUF BTR! I could only afford a half a RUF. I still need to install the RUF IC I picked up and then all I need is a 5 speed and a 3.4 upgrade performed by RUF to get an Authentic RUF BTR.

I guess it is not really a 930 technically but a 3.6 Turbo is a pretty sweet ride and still maintains the look of a classic 930 if you can swing it. I would like to get one of those for the daily driver!
