engine number help
hi hope somebody can help just got me a 1977 targa trying to find out what engine i have in it as looking for a full gasket set the number is 6878001 thanks

That is a 1977 911 turbo engine
first digit: 6 cy engine second: 8 US turbo third: 7 1977 model year rest digits : serial number in that year for this engine type
